Seattle U Summer Business InstituteThe Albers Summer Business Institute (SBI) offers high school juniors the opportunity to explore various aspects of university life. Whether you are interested in business or any other field, we provide students the experience of staying in university dorms, taking classes taught by university professors, visiting the corporate headquarters of our program sponsors, and much more. The curriculum includes hands-on classes in such business areas as marketing, finance, economics, accounting, business law, ethics, international business, and management. You will learn what it really takes to earn a degree and how to select the college that is right for you.
During the four days you will be on campus as an SBI student, current Seattle University students will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and provide you with guidance in your coursework. In addition, there is plenty of time for social activities and getting to know the Seattle University campus.

YEOC: Young Executives of Color is a nine month college pipeline program that brings students from public and private high schools throughout Washington State to the UW campus one Saturday every month for engaging and fun business sessions and opportunities. YEOC is a series of business exploration workshops for local high school students of color. Applications are due May 24, 2014.
UW ACAP (Accounting Career Awareness Program: ACAP’s summer residency week program is for qualified sophomores, juniors and seniors in enrolled in high school throughout the Greater Seattle/Tacoma areas. This educational and motivational week is held annually since 1982 at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Students are immersed in the college experience for the week, residing on campus, utilizing student services and classroom facilities as well as learning how to budget and manage interactively in a college environment. Thanks to generous donations from business partners and community members, the program is at no cost to the students and their families, The program introduces the qualified participants to the accounting, business, economics and finance professions through an educational and interactive curriculum involving accounting, business, economics and finance professionals, University of Washington faculty, business, government & community mentors and ACAP alumni.
